Metro Bangalore. known as Namma Metro, is India’s second largest metro system that spans over 74 km with 66 stations. The metro network will grow, with an additional 102 km under construction, and 82 km will commence soon. The trains run at a frequency of 5 to 15 minutes at speeds of 80km/hr.
The minimum ticket fare for the metro is Rs 10, and the maximum price is around Rs 45. The fare is based on the distance that passengers travel from the boarding station.
Bangalore metro connectivity is currently operating with two route lines – Purple and Green. Four route lines are now under construction and will be operational soon.
The first operational metro line was the Purple Line. It was started under Phase 1 with 37 stations and four interchanges. It offers a quick way to travel 39.4 km across Bangalore from Bangalore. located in the posh locality of Whitefield. to Challaghatta.

The upcoming yellow line will cover 18 km and it will be running on 16 stations. The Yellow Line links RV Road and Bommasandra.
The Blue Line will cover a distance of 58.1 km with 30 stations. The line links some of the prominent localities like Bellandur, HSR Layout, and Mahadevpura.
The Orange Line will be developed in Phase 3, and it will connect two lines, Phase 2A and Phase 3A, with a single station. It will run along the Outer Ring Road from JP Nagar to Hebbal.
The Pink line will connect Nagawara to Gottigerre, and it will have 18 stations. It will connect prominent localities like MG Road, IIM-Bangalore, and Cantonment.
